G-pad got OK Compost Industrial certification by TÜV Austria

In recent days TÜV Austria formally certified g-pad compostability.

Our super absorbent biodegradable and compostable pad had already passed all biodegradation and compostability tests some months ago: OK Compost Industrial certification is the achievement a project in which Magic believed and invested in recent years, a process of continuous innovation according to the principles of the circular economy.
It started with the patenting of Spongel (compostable super-absorbent powder), was followed by Airgel g-grade (compostable high-absorbent airlaid) and finished with g-pad, conceived and developed so that at the end of its lifecycle it can be disposed with household organic waste for industrial composting.

The application of a compostable absorbent pad in the packaging of fresh packaged food simplifies consumers’ experience and helps in making waste recycling easier, fairer and more responsible.
